A Deagle headshot, or one-tap, is a kill made with a single Desert Eagle shot that lands on the enemy’s head.

In Counter-Strike 2, the term is used for clean pistol-round or eco-round eliminations, where the Desert Eagle’s high damage rewards precise crosshair placement and timing. It matters because the Deagle can secure a fast kill at long range or through limited body armor if the shot is accurate enough, making it a common force-buy threat and a high-skill highlight weapon. For example, a player holding Mirage’s Mid with a Deagle may peek Connector and instantly drop an opponent with one well-placed headshot before the duel develops.
