Defuse:

Defuse is the act of stopping and disarming the planted bomb on the Counter-Terrorist side in Counter-Strike 2. It is how a round is won after the Terrorists plant the bomb, provided the CT team completes the action before detonation.

Defusing creates the main post-plant objective in bomb defusal maps. Teams often use smoke, flashbangs, and cover to protect the player defusing, while opponents try to delay or interrupt the attempt.
