A drop, or weapon drop, is when a player gives a teammate a gun, usually by throwing it on the ground for them to pick up. It is commonly used to help teammates buy stronger weapons after a round loss, to share rifles or utility, or to set up an economic advantage for the team.

Weapon drops are an important part of Counter-Strike 2 team economy, since they let players redistribute money and make sure the best equipment goes to the right player at the right time.
