Faceit Level is the ranked skill tier used on FACEIT, a third-party matchmaking platform commonly used by Counter-Strike 2 players. It groups players by competitive performance so matches are made between people of similar ability, separate from the game’s own Premier or Competitive ranks.

FACEIT levels matter because they are a quick shorthand for a player’s experience and expected match quality. Higher levels usually indicate stronger aim, better utility use, and more consistent decision-making, which is why teams often use them when judging trials or lobbies. For example, a player at Level 8 is generally expected to perform better in a mixed lobby than a player at Level 3, even if both have the same in-game rank.
