In VALORANT, lineups are often used for utility such as smokes, mollies, recon tools, or post-plant denial, helping a player use the same setup consistently from round to round.

Lineups matter because they let players use map geometry, timing, and visual cues to make utility more accurate without needing direct line of sight.
