Arcane is easily one of the most successful animated shows of all time. Being based on the popular MOBA by Riot Games called League of Legends, the show features a diverse and realistic cast of characters. However, today, we want to focus on only the main characters, even if the show may have many fan favorites.
Most would agree that, in addition to the animators, the voice actors play a huge role in bringing any character to life, and the same applies to Arcane. Here, we want to take a closer look at every voice actor of Arcane Season 2’s main characters to ensure fans know what face they should put for their favorite voices.
So, without any further ado, here is every voice actor for every Arcane Season 2 main character.
Ella Purnell (Jinx)
Ella Purnell has been at the center of the show’s great success since it debuted on Netflix. Born in London in 1996, she’s been in some great roles like Jackie in the Emmy-nominated series Yellowjackets. Her portrayal of Jinx is intense, and the balance between Powder’s shattered innocence and Jinx’s unhinged chaos has struck a chord with both game fans and newcomers to the show.
Purnell's performance has been a big standout in a show that’s otherwise mainly praised for its jaw-dropping animation and deep storytelling. Purnell has shared in interviews how she deeply connected with Jinx’s emotional struggle and often drew her own experiences for an authentic portrayal. Gearing up for Season 2, Purnell has teased that the finale is going to be “devastating”, leaving fans wondering how the story ends.
Hailey Steinfeld (Vi)
Hailey’s portrayal of Vi has been a huge part of the impact this series has had. Born in 1996 in Los Angeles, Steinfeld has shown her incredible range in roles like Mattie Ross in True Grit, earning her an Oscar nomination, as well as Gwen Stacy in the animated Spider-Verse films. The same depth and range are on full display in Arcane where she brings Vi’s tough yet vulnerable personality to life.
Steinfeld has expressed just how much she loved diving into the world of Arcane and voice acting such a complex character. She’s earned praise from fans for being able to deliver on the emotional moments that highlight Vi’s complicated bond with her sister, while also hitting home the emotional turmoil of a person trying to survive in the harsh world of Piltover and Zaun.

Katie Leung (Caitlyn)
Katie Leung’s portrayal of Caitlynn Kiramman is praised especially for its emotional depth and complexity. Born in 1987 in Scotland, Leung rose to fame with her role as Cho Chang in the Harry Potter series. Since then she’s carved out a diverse career, and in Arcane, she brings her A-game through her incredible improvisation.
Leung brings a fresh take to Caitlyn instead of taking too much from the game’s portrayal, a decision that allows her to bring a whole new level of personalization to Caitlyn. Leung has captured Caitlyn’s empathy and determination in a way that’s earned her a lot of praise, and Caitlyn’s journey from a privileged enforcer to someone questioning the power structures around her has fans hooked.
Kevin Alejandro (Jayce Talis)
Kevin Alejandro voices Jayce Talis in Arcane. Born in April 1976 in Texas, he became quite well-known for his performances, most notably Detective Dan Espinoza in the hit TV series Lucifer. His unbelievable range and talent are reflected in his portrayal of Jayce, a performance that has a deeper connection to the character thanks to Alejandro’s son playing a role in his decision to take on the role.
Alejandro’s performance is highly regarded for its emotional weight, especially in his interactions with Viktor. The character’s journey from an idealistic scientist to a morally grey figure perfectly mirrors the series’ theme of what power does to a person. His portrayal is complex and brings depth to a character whose decisions are shaped by a mix of political pressures, personal ideas, and a drive to protect Piltover.
Harry Lloyd (Viktor)
Harry Lloyd voices Viktor in Arcane and is a name you might recognize from his roles in Game of Thrones, Counterpart, and Brave New World. Born in London in 1983, Lloyd’s family has a rich connection to storytelling, with Lloyd being a descendant of Charles Dickens himself. In Arcane, Viktor’s journey is one of ambition and transformation, as he strives to revolutionize Piltover’s technology.
Viktor’s character deals with grappling with the moral consequences of his work, and Lloyd’s performance nails just that by perfectly capturing Viktor’s drive, vulnerability, and descent into darkness. His voice adds layers to Viktor’s relationships, especially with Jayce, making his arc even more tragic.
Brett Tucker (Singed)
Brett Tucker brings a downright chilling depth to one of the show’s most enigmatic characters. Born in Australia in 1972, Tucker has decades of experience in his art, with standout roles in McLeod’s Daughters and The Saddle Club. His talent for capturing nuance shines bright in Arcane where he portrays the mad chemist from Zaun who’s on the edge of madness.
Tucker’s portrayal is not about just playing a villain, but also embodying a man who’s so consumed by his pursuit of knowledge that he’s lost all sense of morality. This layered performance makes Singed a tragic figure unbound by principles. Tucker’s performance as Singed is chilling and is arguably one of the most unforgettable presences in the show.
Reed Shannon (Ekko)
Ekko is arguably one of the coolest characters in Arcane Season 2 and Reed Shannon is largely to thank for that. Born on September 22, 2000, in North Carolina, this talented voice artist began studying musical theater at the age of four. While Arcane is definitely his big break, Shannon has appeared in other movies and shows as well, including Amazon Prime's hit YA Series "The Wilds".
Shannon brings Ekko to life with his soft-spoken yet confident voice. Ekko has gone through a lot in Arcane when he was forced to grow up, and Shannon perfectly portrays that. His voice acting is so good that Shannon also voices the same character in Legends of Runeterra, and we wouldn’t be surprised if Riot wants to retain this talent.
